Kerry Schade is a Board-Certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Starting as an EMT during high school, she graduated and went to college taking the science path. She completed her undergraduate studies at Bergen Community College and continued to complete her Bachelors in the Science of Nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. She began her nursing career in long-term care and rehabilitation, as well as in-home pediatric private duty nursing. Her hospital experience includes Med-Surg, Cardiology, and Open heart surgery. She also has experience in the Emergency Trauma Department at Hackensack Meridian Health, and 2 years of ICU experience at Hackensack Meridian at Pascack Valley.
Kerry completed her Master's in Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care at William Paterson University. Her experience as a Nurse Practitioner includes Primary Care, Cardiology, Weight Loss Medicine, as well as hospital inpatient Cardiology care.
Kerry strongly believes that any health condition can first be modified by lifestyle changes and that the use of any medication coincides with healthy living habits. Her style of care is collaborative, as she believes patients do better when they are involved and interested in their plan of care.
