Faruk Ali, APN has a total of 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. His education includes a Bachelors degree in Biological Science, a Bachelors degree in Nursing and a Masters degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers State University (formerly known as UMDNJ).
Faruk Ali is Board Certified as a FNP by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). During his Nursing career he worked in a variety of settings, including Emergency room, Med-Surgical unit, Visiting Nurse Services, and in Addiction/Behavioral health. After further training, he became a Family Nurse Practitioner and worked in Primary Care providing services to Adults and Geriatrics.
In addition, he have many years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in community Palliative Care working with elderly population with complex health issues and end of life challenges.
Faruk's goal is to improve the health and quality of life for his patients by focusing on the underlying root causes of illness from a preventative, lifestyle, medical-psychosocial model of care.
He is fluent in both English and Bengali and is currently taking new patients out of our Paramus and Paterson offices.
