Dr. Suhel Ahmed is a highly respected physician with more than 20 years of experience in weight management, obesity medicine, and chronic disease care. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and one of the first Medical Doctors to become board-certified in Bariatric Medicine of New Jersey. Dr. Ahmed is the founder and CEO and leads All Health Medical Group in Hackensack, New Jersey, serving patients with 10+ offices across Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties with expertise and compassion.
Dr. Ahmed earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Hackensack University Medical Center through Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He went on to pursue advanced training in obesity medicine through The American Society of Bariatric Physicians, earning board certification in this specialty.
Widely recognized for his clinical excellence, Dr. Ahmed has been consistently ranked as New Jersey’s Top Doctor for the past 20 years, including honors such as the Castle Connolly Top Doctor award and Patient Choice accolades. Dr. Ahmed is also extensively engaged in community service. He serves on several health boards across New Jersey, including Care Plus NJ. He also holds the role of Borough Physician for the town of Prospect Park as well as Englewood Cliffs, reflecting his commitment to local public health.
