Daniel Huq APN brings over twenty years of extensive healthcare experience, with a strong concentration in cardiovascular care and interventional cardiology. His clinical background spans high-acuity settings including Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Emergency Department, telemetry, step-down, and medical-surgical units, providing him with a comprehensive foundation in managing complex cardiac patients across the continuum of care.
He has advanced expertise in cardiac risk assessment, cardiovascular disease management, and interventional cardiology, where he currently practices as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. His experience includes managing patients with coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedural cardiac care, with a focus on delivering precise, evidence-based, and patient-centered treatment.
In addition to his clinical work, Daniel has held multiple leadership roles including Clinical Operations Manager and Administrative Head Nurse, where he helped improve care delivery and operational efficiency. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor, contributing to the education and development of future healthcare professionals.
Daniel’s academic background reflects an exceptional commitment to advanced medical training. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University, followed by a nursing diploma from Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and an Associate of Science from Union County College. He went on to complete both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Administration at Kean University. He also obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Windsor University and is ECFMG certified, further strengthening his medical knowledge and clinical perspective. He later completed a Post-Master’s Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate from William Paterson University.
