  • Flu
  • COVID-19
  • Other illnesses
  • Strep throat
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Skin cancer
  • Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Vitamin and mineral deficiencies
  • Thyroid disorders
  • High cholesterol
  • High triglycerides
  • High blood sugar
  • Diabetes

Learning more about the cause of unpleasant symptoms allows your All Health Medical Group provider to develop an effective treatment plan.

What are different types of lab testing?

Common types of lab testing available at All Health Medical Group include:

Urine tests

To complete urine testing, you simply pee in a cup so a lab can analyze it and check for potential issues.

Blood tests

Your All Health Medical Group specialist takes a sample of blood from your arm using a tiny needle for lab analysis.

Nasal and throat swabs

Taking a sample of secretions from the upper part of your nostril or throat using a swab allows All Health Medical Group specialists to test for strep throat, flu, COVID-19, and other illnesses.

STD tests

In addition to urine and blood tests, other ways to test for STDs include taking a sample of secretions from open sores.

Pap tests

Pap tests in women use a swab of the cervix to screen for signs of cervical cancer.

Biopsies

Taking a tissue sample of your skin or other tissues during a biopsy allows a lab to detect or rule out certain types of cancer.

Which lab tests are right for me?

To let you know which lab tests (if any) are right for you, your All Health Medical Group specialist reviews your medical history, discusses your symptoms, and checks your vital signs. They also complete a physical examination.

When will I receive lab testing results?

Some lab tests are available within 10-15 minutes and others take a day or two, depending on the type of lab testing you undergo. Your All Health Medical Group specialist lets you know what to expect and reviews the results with you after receiving them.
